140mm Front intake fan recommendations

Looking for 2 140mm front intake airflow fans for Fractal Design Define R4 that will also work with a Define Meshify C Mini for a future build.

1. I would like reasonably quiet fans that are not ugly and not too expensive
2. Both fans will be pulling through a filter
3. 1 front fan is pushing through a hard drive cage

In addition, I currently have the fans connected to case fan controller, but I am not sure if I should connect them to fan headers on motherboard or how I should it? I have an Asus Z97-K, not sure how many fan headers it has, possibly 2.

My system is low power with an i5 4460 and EVGA gtx 1060 sc (single fan)

2. Both fans are pulling through a filter and bottom fan is pushing through a drive cage.

I there a difference between Pure wings and silent wings, and what are the differences between pure wings 2 and pure wings 3?

If I was to buy one of these to go with my stock front intake, which would you have at the top and which at the bottom? Bearing in mind there is a drive cage in front of my bottom front intake.

I have an Asus Z97 - K which has 2 x4pin fan headers. Is it safe to connect 2 be quiet! 140mm Pure wings 2 PWM to one header using a Y splitter, then my exhaust fan to the other header?

Also do all my fans need to be PWM as I will have a stock dc fan as an exhaust connected to the other header, or should I get non PWM versions of the fans?
