144 hz adaptation problem

I have just bought a new monitor (BenQ XL2411) and new pc with (asus gtx1080 ti turbo) . Now the asus graphic card have only 2 HDMI and 2 Native displayport outputs while my monitor has DVI and HDMI. I have tried to use HDMI cable and couldnt support 144hz. Which kind of cable or adaptor should I use to support 144 hz. Sorry If I'm not very clear. Thanks in advance.

I think your monitor supports it only via DVI and has no HDMI2.0 onboard

use the latest nvidia driver

Thanks for answer. I want to update the situation. So far i bought 2 different adapter. 1 for DVI to Hdmi and 1 for 1 DVI to Displayport but sadly none of them support the 144 hz. I will try to update drivers, I might be wrong but I'm guessing this is a hardware problem rather than software. Thank you again.

Did you mean one video card HDMI to monitor DVI Dual Link adapter? Can you post the link or exact model you´ve got?
