I've tried a 144hz monitor and was amazed with the more smoother experience in browsing and some games mostly playing PUBG. It's overall more pleasant to the eye.

Will I lose the smoothness effect while just using 1050ti?

I am not talking about FPS. I'm talking about the smoothness that I can't explain.

Thanks for the help

Well, smoothness is your own perception. With that said, your system is not suitable for the monitor. At least not for gaming.
The GTX1050ti is a low-midrange card. It's suitable for 1080p 60hz and just about, at that. Even at 1080p you have to dial back in game settings to maintain 60fos (an indication of smoothness). At 1440p it will be even harder for the GTX1050ti to maintain FPS without dialling settings back big time. Your CPU although a star in it's day will also hold you back. Not in a bottleneck kinda way, as it's actually nicely balanced with the GPU. But just to drive higher FPS at that res, you need a better GPU/CPU. Some games will be as smooth as butter. CSGO, maybe fortnight too. Anything demanding is gonna struggle at that res, with your GPU specially. The CPU can have an affect on smoothness too. Higher core/thread counts really play apart in new games like BF1/COD WW2, BF V and new AAA games. Your I5 4570 will max out in some of those games and cause stuttering.

Hi,
I'm not talking about FPS.
What I mean is that when I move my mouse rapidly in game there is less motion blur in the surroundings. Which makes it less pain in the eye, unlike with my 60hz monitor just moving my mouse suddenly to turn in a corner feels dizzying, I'm not sure if I had explained it well enough.

I play mostly PUBG and Insurgency. Nothing AAA like battlefield 1 or V. I just want that smoothness even during just browsing 144hz just feels different. I really can't explain, don't know the terms to use.

Thank you :)

1050 is not pwoerful enough to run over 1080p with decent frames without severe quality turned down.
That doesn't mean you cant use 1440, but only in desktop mode and change it for Game mode to 1080.

You need to SYNC it to make it not blur so much.
https://www.testufo.com/ is a good test about blur and such.

I have an nvidia card (gsync) and the 144hz I plan to buy has only freesync.
Will I not be able to feel the less blur effect?

So basically buying a 144hz with my rig is useless as I will not experience the smooth/no screen tearing effect?
They say I can turn on vsync but it will reduce my FPS.

Are there any benefit if I buy 144hz 1440p using my rig?
