What is a good / high end NON_Gaming card for 1440 resolution please?

What's your budget for the GPU ? For which purpose do you need to buy a new GPU, because you want non-gaming card ? You can also get any of the entry level GPUs, the GT series, or AMD's low-end cards.

Approx £300. Mainly home video editing, streaming, browsing, etc. Want to, some extend, get a decent card now to future proof.

Then maybe get the GT 1030 GPU, the GDDR5 variant though ? Which Motherboard and CPU do you actually have ? Does it support integrated onboard graphics ?

X570 / 3700X combo. Do not upgrade often, so "future proofing" need as well.

You want to "future proof" your gpu if you want to game with it. If gaming is not an option (only browsing, Netflix etc) ANY cheap gpu can push even 4k for as long as it is receiving electricity.

Yes, I am not aware of any modern gpu/igpu that cannot do 1440p or 4K. To run your desktop without gaming at these or even higher resolutions is not hard.
