1440p 120-144hz 1-4ms monitor under $300

I know it's not easy to find, I've been looking. This is a lot to ask for under $300 but i'm coming here to make sure it's possible. I am getting a GTX 1080 and would love a great monitor to go with it. The problem is i'm spending so much on the rest of the PC and I would like a sort of low price for the monitor. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

There is a huge difference in the technology offered at 1080p and 1440p.

At 1440p, IPS panels exist w/ G-Sync / ULMB, they don't (at least i have not seen any) at 1080p. This is where all the attention is at present tho the price tag is still high at $700 for monitors like the 144 Hz Acer XB270HU bprz and 165 hz Acer XB271HU bmiprz.

The closest TN sibling that comes close to your budget is he $500 Acer XB270HU Abprz

I know that's $200 more than you wanted to spend but once you drop below that, it's a big reduction in technology / performance. Normally I'd say spring for the IPS panel but that monitor is normally $600. At $100 premium for IPS, I'd find a way ... but at $200 savings, it gets much more appealing.
