Hi I have a GTX 1080 ti and 6700k I am wanting to upgrade my monitor to a 1440p 144hz screen, I currently have 144hz 1080p screen. I have two questions how can I eliminate any screen tear without paying for g-sync and what would be a good 27inch 1440p 144hz screen?

I seen a g-sync 1440p 144hz for £425 so my budget is £300 if its a bit over I dont mind.

Yes, that was a typo. Sometimes the fingers just type what they want despite the ol' Mk1 brain unit telling them otherwise. :/

Do you have a manufacturer/brand preference? What type of panel do you prefer: TN, VA, IPS? New or second hand?

In regards to monitor just an adjustable stand for height. Also for second hand I cant buy until another week just putting that out there incase theres any bid wars or time limits.

I only asked the second hand question to see if that was acceptable for you or not. I, personally, always buy new when it comes to electronics though others have no issues buying used.

Also, for the price you've set, you're going to have to go with a TN panel. It'll have the best GTG performance down to 1ms in most circumstances but won't be able to display truly deep blacks. You also have the off axis viewing thing to deal with but I think that's a bit overblown.
