A GTX 1070 TI (AMP! Extreme) with OC is enough to run 1440p@144Hz the current games on the ultra (or at least on the high) settings in a 27" inch monitor?

The difference for a GTX 1080 is in my country (+/- $ 320 dolars in direct conversion, here it's around R$ 1000 (Brazil, reais)).

Some games:
- GTA V
- Overwatch
- Doom
- CS GO
- BF 1
- Rainbow 6
- Dead by Daylight
- Shadow of War
- Diablo
- Path of Exile
- NFS
- The Witcher 3
- Tomb Raider
- Project CARS 2
- and more...

(PUBG too, but with the optimization ... haha 100fps is ok)

Solution
I think a 1070 Ti is enough depending on your CPU. Like Velocity said, it won't give you 144 FPS or more in every game but that is what Gsync is for. If you could get 144 FPS in every game you wouldn't be using Gsync anyways and I don't think any GPU on the market is actually capable of that.

I also have a 1440p 144Hz Gsync monitor and I use a 1070 (not Ti). I don't play every game on your list but I do play a few of them. Overwatch, Doom, CS GO, Diablo 3, and Path of Exile will get 120+ FPS with a 1070 Ti no problem.

The Witcher 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and PUBG will be below 100 FPS. I am able to get about 100 in PUBG if I turn the shadows and particle effects down to medium.

1070 ti can OC to 1080 stock.
Benchmark on 1080: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1080-review/1100-6439863/

Some games you will only get 60, but some can reach ~100+ assuming no CPU limit. What CPU do you have? For that price diff, 1070ti is the way to go.

Thx.

Thanks, especially because of the examples with your VGA.
120fps+ (with exceptions +/- 100) I believe I will be satisfied :)
I'll wait if someone else comments anything else.

This is the plan, OC to 1080 if i stay with 1070 TI.

Thanks.
