I'm not surprised. 32" is big for a 1080p monitor. Image gets stretched a fair bit.
24-25" for 1080p, 27-32" for 1440p, 32"+ for 4k.

The Acer on this list is a VA panel, the Asus an IPS, and the Dell a TN.
About the 3 monitor types: TN monitors have the fastest response times, but are the cheapest, due to weaker viewing angles. IPS displays have slightly slower response times but better color than VA monitors. VA monitors have the best contrast but slower response times.
People who aren't hardcore, competitive players tend to shun TN panels due to their poor color reproduction, but if you need the lowest input lag possible, and 120+fps, no other panel does it better.
Colors are rad with IPS, but backlight bleed is a common issue with this technology. They are usually the most expensive of the 3.
VA's are sort of the middle ground. They have come a long way, and some models have response times that match that of IPS.
There is no best monitor, as each have their pros and cons, but one that best fits your needs.
