[SOLVED] 1440p 144hz or 1080p 240hz?

I am a portable gamer looking for a small monitor to be semi-portable, I was thinking of a 1080p 240hz or 1440p 144hz monitor, but I couldn't choose

system specs:

rtx 3080 evga
ryzen 9 5900x
32gb of ddr4 4000 cl17 memory

i play from basic games like minecraft up until doom or read dead, all on mostly low because im still using my i7-7700 non k pc.

old pc spec:
120gb ssd, i7-7700, rx 580 8gb

You have a 3080, 1080p is a waste .
144Hz is the sweet spot for refresh rates, beside, there is no huge difference from 240Hz unless you play competitive.
So 1440p 144Hz is the way to go.

Even i competite the difference between 144hz and 240hz is difficult to spot.
I agree with you on 1440p 144hz.
Crazy how it is now the perfect resolution for both fast paced games and graphics.
