Hi guys, I know there's a lot of people that asks this question, so I'd get straight to my unique question (if it isn't in another thread already)

I own a Dell 27" 1440p 144hz monitor for almost 2 years now. I've come to the point where while gaming, it's as if the screen is blurring for me.

So I was thinking, would a 25" 1080p 240hz help with the blur so it might help me focus more?

Edit: I could also sell my monitor in order to help with "money loss" for buying a 240hz if it comes to that.
Also, yes I obviously get more than 240fps with my current setup.

My PC specs:
Intel i7 4790
GTX 1080ti
16Gb Ram
512GB SSD

Well, you have a very powerful GPU so 1080P won't push it to its full potential probably and are you sure the monitor isn't broken? very few games can reach 240 FPS so I see it as sort of a waste and what monitor model is the DELL?

No the monitor isn't broken, I think I just got used to the refresh rate.
I mostly play CS and that's where I see the blur effect. Putting the monitor to 120hz ULMB mode does help, but then it makes the monitor darker, and it doesn't feel smooth anymore.

No I don't have blur effects enabled.
