ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q 27" 2560x1440 IPS 165Hz vs. ASUS ROG Swift PG278QR 27” 2560x1440 1ms 165Hz vs. ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q 24.5" Full HD 1ms 240Hz. Price does not matter. I do casual gaming, and I like to watch YouTube and movies. Which monitor should I get?

Solution
I would lean towards the ROG Swift PG279Q as well. It has been on my wish list for some time. But it is pricey.

The TNN panels have better response times, but the color display isn't as good as the IPS in general. The ROG is reasonable at 4ms though as opposed to 1ms on the TNN panels.

If price isn't an issue then the 1440p 165Hz IPS is the best. I've got the Acer Predator equivalent and it's much, much more visually detailed than 1080p. Much better than my cheapo 4K monitor also.

*I mean wait; what GPU do you have? What's your specs? For some reason I thought you said you had a GTX 1080.
