Question 1440p at 144Hz

Hello. My current build is:

CPU: Core i5 9600k
GPU: RTX 2060 Super
RAM: 2x8gb 3200
Monitor: ASUS 1080p 60Hz

I want buy a new monitor and probably wait for black Friday prices 😉

I currently play BFV. Without ray tracing on, I'm getting between 120-200 FPS on Ultra preset.

I'd like to get a 1440p/144Hz GSYNC monitor but I'm not sure my current CPU/GPU can effectively drive it.

What do you guys think?

The higher the resolution the lower the frames will be. Your next logical step would be to get a beefy card after you buy the 1440p panel. You could also not run Ray Tracing and at 1440p, you should be able to get playable frames with reduced in-game details.

You should mention the budget you have for your intended display purchase, where you're located and what your preferred site for purchase is?

I'm in the US and will likely purchase from the local Micro Center or from maybe Amazon. I really don't want to spend more than around $400.

Maybe I should get a high refresh rate GSYNC 1080p monitor? Is a higher refresh rate monitor more noticeable than a higher resolution monitor in gaming? I know it's subjective but what do you guys think?
