Question 1440p DSR vs native 1080p

After struggling with input lag and micro stutter for almost 3 weeks with over 5 reinstall of windows and switching different cables I was told that my CPU was bottlenecking my 2080Ti at 1080p. So I decided to try DSR 1.78x to 1440p, all the input lag its gone no more micro stutter though playing youtube on my 2nd monitor will still lag my game really hard (anyone got a fix for this?) My question is why did upscaling to 1.78x made all my problems go away? Surely there are still tons of people gaming at 1080p but why dont they have any input lag/microstutter?

The issues when running a second monitor are common and I have not seen any fix for it. Issue is really bad if the two monitors are on different refresh rates, that seems to be when screen issues come up like stutter or flashing images.

Not with 2080Ti's they aren't.

You really need to get a 1440P monitor.
