Building this PC for Gaming and a little of editing down the line. I'm building it around Christmas, so I'm hoping that prices will go down a little and I'll be able to go a little over budget. I need to be able to play games like Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, BF1, and For Honor at 60+fps on a 1440p 60hz monitor. Will this do the job?

By the way, I'm going to uncase an external 1TB I currently use on my Xbox 1 and mount it for extra storage.

I would stay within my $1000 budget and take a 1070 in 1080p, but I feel like that's overkill and I think I want to prepare for the future and take a 1080 for $100 more and play at 1440p. But is my cpu strong enough for my gpu? And will my motherboard be able to keep up?

And of course, are there any cheaper parts of the same or better quality?

Thank you!
