Hi all,

I want to get a new 1440p ips monitor for gaming and I am looking for some recommendations.
I was thinking about the asus pg279q but it's 4 years old now and I read alot about it having a realy bad QC
I also saw the lenovo legion y27q-20 but I can't find any real information about it

I am open for suggestions 😅

Thanks!

Solution
It is best if you can see a prospective monitor in person.
Failing that, look at reviews.
Consider carefully, a good monitor will last a long time.
A IPS type panel will have better image quality than a tn panel.
It will also have a better 178/178 viewing angle.
27" probably would not benefit from a curve.

Here is one I found which includes g.sync

I bought this exact monitor about a month ago and so far, I love it. It's not an IPS tho, but in my humble opinion, it's still pretty damn nice. A huge upgrade from the 27" 1080p Visio I had that instantly died with a puff of smoke and a crisp scent of ozone lol..

At a glance:
32" Curved Monitor
2560 x 1440
144Hz Refresh Rate
1ms Response Rate
FreeSync

Whats your max budget?

I am kind of torn between the pg279q and the AD27QD, I can get them for about the same price

I would really like to know if someone had any experience with the lenovo legion y27q-20 as on paper it looks really good
