if i play on a 2560 x 1440p monitor, and play games at 1080p will the screen be messed up? like black bars or something. it sounds like a stupid question but i just want to know thanks.

Solution
Since 1440p and 1080p share the same aspect ratio, you shouldn't see any weird scaling or black bars. If you see black bars or stretching, then your display may be scaling the wrong aspect ratio or may not be scaling the image at all. You can usually find these scaling options in your monitor settings and (I think) in your graphics card control panel.

would also check in game settings if you're still having problems
