[SOLVED] 1440p Monitor help

Im getting used 1440p monitor from my friend.

So my first question is currently i have I5 8400 with GTX 1060 6GB and 8Gb ram, just wondering if that is enough for decent 1440p gaming?

Second question is that i have PS4 pro which i mainly play on so how does 1440p monitor work on PS4 Pro? Is it even supported since its not 4k?

The monitor is Asus MG279Q if that matters

For CSGO and Fortnite, yes the 1060 will be good. For games like GTA V, BF1, etc, no. The 1060 is more suited for 1080p and not 1440p.

The PS4 Pro should work with that resolution. IIRC, the Pro can only play movies at 4k.

Yeah, been playing games like Rocket league, Doom and Dayz with 60+fps. On PS4 the monitor looks really bad, like blurry and stuff so im going to keep the 1080p monitor for the console. Thanks for the answer!
