why wouldn't you be able to game across them? you can set [strike]SLI or crossfire [/strike] with different resolution monitors if I'm correct
*edit: SLI or crossfire have nothing to do with the amount of monitors I just realise... I meant eyefinity or the like of course. I can understand that an FPS is not playable with 2 but racing games would work. Hell, there's real cars with a devided windscreen.
You can';t game on 2 monitors period. No matter what resolution. Your cross-hair will be in the center and generally games ONLY support odd numbers of monitors.
You just don't (in most situations can't) game on 2 monitors.

You can't run a game on different resolutions, even if that was so it wouldn't be a pleasant experience.
And actually there are some RTS games that allow 2 monitor setups, for example World of Conflict you can do dual monitors on.
Yes no problem. You will not be able to game across them or anything like that, but you can certainly use them both.
I have two different resolution monitors on my setup.
Would i be able to use the second monitor while gaming? For example in dayz, i currently play on one screen and use my laptop for a map, would i be able to use my second monitor as a map while still g full screen mode on the main monitor?
Ya, it just doesn't make a lot of sense to have two bezels right in front of you. I have a main monitor(centered) and another monitor offset to my right.
