Laptop: Lenovo Legion 7i
NVidia 3070,
2560x1600 165Hz display
Ports: USB-A, USB-C, HDMI
This is what I will mostly connect the monitor to most of the time.
It will be used for a little of everything - productivity, gaming, movies, and maybe plug my series-x in to the hdmi port.
Requirements: Ultrawide, 1440p+, 144Hz+, 2300r+ or flat, 34"+, Anti-Glare / Matte Display, can connect to my laptop
Budget: $900
This is the closest option I could find: MSI MEG381CQR Plus
It's about perfect, but also lacks a USB-C port for my laptop to connect with and I don't know how well USB-C to DP converters work. Also pricey, but also hundreds cheaper than any 1600p from months ago.
1440p is cheaper but that difference between multiple displays always seems to bug me on laptops. That said, I'm not truly against 1440p if the option is simply just better.
Any advice is appreciated!
