When others have asked this question, they have often been told that a 1440p monitor would work better with their current setup. However, I wanted to know if my situation is different. As stated above, I have a gtx 980, and probably won't be playing anything more demanding than Black Ops II. I can usually get over 200 fps on BO2 at 1080p, so I'm guessing I'd do fine at 2160p. I also don't believe that the high pixel density of a 2160p monitor will bother me at the distance I am from the monitor. What would you guys suggest?

When looking at possible 2160p monitors, I don't want to spend too much money. I was thinking the AOC U2879VF ($350) would be the best option in the price range I was looking at. I don't care that it's a TN panel.

Thanks

A single 980 isn't enough for most modern modern games at 4K, but I was wondering specifically about the games I play. Like I said, well over 200 fps is common for me in my most graphically intensive games. I wouldn't mind turning down AA a bit if necessary either (probably don't need it much at 4K anyway). After Black Ops, I don't play anything more demanding than Left 4 Dead 2. Would I not be able to run those games fine at 4K?

I'll definitely upgrade my graphics card if I start playing more demanding games.

Thanks
