1440p or 4k or full hd monitor for second monitor

Hello guys,


I am need of advice as to which monitor would suit me best as a my secondary monitor used for movies/chatting/browsing.
I've currently got a 27'inch 1440p monitor from acer as my main primary monitor hooked up to a 980ti gpu. The secondary monitor won't be used for gaming.

I was choosing between the following three monitors

1. Acer 28"XB280HK (4k g sync gaming monitor 144hz)
2. Benq IPS 24" BL2420PT (1440p professional grade IPS monitor)
3. Benq 24" XL2420G G-SYNC (1080p gaming 144hz monitor)

As a side question, would this effect my gaming if Im only using the secondary monitor for youtube/movies and browsing?

For a secondary monitor I'd just go for a 1080p 60Hz monitor. No need for g-sync or 144Hz if you're not going to be gaming on it

I was thinking that also, however I just brought home a aoc 1080p g2460pf monitor. the quality looks horrendous, not sure if its coz im used to my 1440p monitor or not.. i want it to look equal if not better
