1440p with 1060 3gb with Pentium G4560

Hi

I was in the middle of building a semi-budget gaming pc, the game I play the most being Overwatch.

I was wondering if the new budget king, G4560 would be able to run on a 1440p(60hz), with a gtx 1060 3gb

Would it be a bottleneck for the 1060?
If not, would I be able to overclock the 1060 to play on 1440p 60fps+ on Ultra?

That's a 1080p build. 1440p is going to need a better CPU and at least a 6GB 1060 and even then you will have to lower image quality settings.

How about if I upgrade to a i7 7600k?
Would I still need the 6Gb 1060 to get stable 60 fps?

Yeah that 3GB card will hold you back more than the CPU.

In Overwatch you'll be able to play at 1440p@60 fps high/ultra settings with a G4560 + GTX 1060 3GB I'm sure. Even with A GTX 1050 Ti you'll be able to do this.

CPU has nothing to do with resolution whatsoever , it'll run the same fps at 1080p as it will at 1440p as it will at 4k.

Resolution is entirely GPU dependant.
