Hello!

I got a new system (12600k, b660, etc) and got Gtx 780Ti from my uncle. (because overprice rn)

With a 780Ti, I cannot run 144hz? it keeps showing 60hz... My monitor is a Samsung 1440p 144hz.
But the thing is with the same HDMI cable, and 12600k internal graphics, it works with 144hz.... 😂

(In Nvidia control panel, I tried 144hz, it was not working, maximum was 80hz)

So my cable is working, the monitor is working, is it just my GPU doesn't support it?

Please help me... I want to feel 144hz ASAP

(OS is Windows 11)
(Samsung Curved WQHD Monitor C27JG56QQNXZA)

I see what you mean. Hmm does gpu and monitor have Displayport? Maybe Hdmi port on gpu is limited, try DP cable. DP cable from Club3D on Amazon. They are Vesa certified DP brand.

I used to have 780 and faced the same issue. Reason is the 780's architecture doesn't allow 144hz at 1440p, 1080p no problem. If i remember correctly back then when i had the card, 120Hz in 1440p was maximum but could be wrong.

Ahhhh I see...
Well I need to get new monitor with 1080p? lol.
Thanks for sharing

yes, it has a DP port. ok.. I will try to buy it. is it have to be Club3D? can I buy a different brand with a VESA certificate?

It should do 144hz with displayport and some older monitors you need dual link DVI cable, I ran 2 GTX 780ti's and they did just fine with 2 different 1440p monitors, 1 was 165hz with display port cable, and the other 144hz dual link DVI, was older gaming monitor though.
