Hi, im just wondering if G-Sync is a necessary component for the GTX 1060 6GB graphics card to prevent the screen from tearing and stuttering im trying to find a 144hz monitor with 1ms response time and about 24" in size to be suitable for my gaming setup but i just dont know if its better to buy a monitor with G-Sync so i dont have to worry about screen tearing or if it doesnt matter. at the moment i am looking at one monitor that suits my preferences but if you guys have any suggestions for me i would appreciate that very much. the link to the monitor is down below

With a GTX 1060, you are expecting an average of ~100fps. G Sync will not be necessary if you are buying a 144 Hz monitor. G Sync is recommended if your graphics card produces more frames than your monitor can handle.. If you had a GTX 1080, I would recommend it but it won't be necessary with your current GTX 1060.

These in my opinion are the best 24" gaming monitor. [Most of them are 1080p 144Hz 1ms TN]
LG 24GM77-B followed by Acer GN246HL and Asus VG248QE
