144hz monitor and a TV with same resolution - duplicate display with different hz

So my main monitor is a BenQ XL2411Z and i have it set to 1920x1080 at 144HZ with DVI-D.
I have a 10m HDMI cable running to a TCL television that is also 1920x1080 but 60hz.

When I try to duplicate these displays my benq is capped to 60hz, i have to go and disable the TV from nvidia control panel (gtx 960) to be able to swtich my benq refresh rate.

Is it possible to always have these 2 displays dupliacted, with my benq always being at 144hz and my tv at 60hz?

I'm pretty sure the only way to mix monitor resolutions and refresh rates is to set it up for extended display, not duplicate.

I just had to get this worked out as well. my monitor is 144hrz but my DVR recorder is 60 for HD and only 30 for UHD.

Just so you know, this WILL drop your FPS because it does put more load on your video card.
