144Hz Monitor Grey Screen Glitch

My monitor now shows a set of moving grey lines and a vertical pink strip instead of a normal output from the PC. I've tried this on my second 60Hz monitor which has the same problem. Happened just after I installed firefox and used a player if that has any significance.
Using a DVI-D dual cable. Specs :
FX 8350, R9 280x

Hi,

Most likely a defective GPU since it replicates the problem on the other monitor.
RMA gpu.
Might want to test with another psu just in case the one you have is chocking.

Dexter makes a very good point, if it was doing it on both monitors, it's not a monitor issue but rather a component issue.
