[SOLVED] 144hz monitor turning off and on in games

Hi, my asus vg248qe 144hz monitor is turning off and on mainly for a couple of seconds at a time, every 5 seconds. I'm almost certain it's my GPU (the Aorus RX580 8gb) , as I've tried different power leads but to no avail. I've tried updating every driver but the problem seems persisting.
Any help will be greatly appreciated for making my monitor work ingame.

Well, 1 out of the 3 DisplayPorts seem to work with 144hz
