Hello peeps! I have a question.

Currently I have a BenQ 21.5' 60hz monitor: http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-GW2255-21-5-inch-LED-lit-Monitor/dp/B00AX9Z6MU

I was looking at the AOC 144hz 24' monitor: http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16824160177

Now while I will most likely end up buying both the monitor and the keyboard at some point, I was wondering which I should get first.

My current keyboard is some $30 CM STORM Devastator mouse and keyboard bundle. (I have a Razer death adder now)

Please leave any suggestions if you want I was looking at the Razer Blackwidow ultimate (is that the latest?) not the chroma version. Any suggestions mind a $150 budget. The lower price the better but yeah.

Anyways, I just want to know what you guys opinions are on which one I should get first, the 144hz monitor (never had 144hz before <3) or a proper gaming keyboard.

Don't know how much it matters too much but the main game I play is CSGO. Thank you!

Want too sure what category to put this in, there wasn't a "peripherals" category and I guess I could have put it under displays...

On a side note, does anyone know how I can change my display name? Thanks.

Solution
if your rig can drive high fps (>100, ideally >144) then the monitor is a good choice.

for the keyboard, i like ducky, good build quality, simple design though unlike those gaming keyboards so it depends on you. but they are one of the best out there, a bit on the expensive side though.
i like corsair too and CM. my first mech KB was razer, but now i don't like razer too much. expensive but fails more often than other brands based on what i've seen

Ok, thanks for the reply. I'm going to leave this thread open just to get some other opinions and keyboard suggestions.

CPU - AMD FX-6300 6-Core O'Clocked @4.3Ghz w/ 212 Evo
GPU - Sapphire Radeon 280X
RAM - 8GB (2x4) Crucial Ballistic
MB - Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+

My case isn't windowed <3 and that's missing some peripherals but you get the main stuff.

Also, I understand its not the greatest, but it rocks CSGO at the 300fps cap. If only I went with intel xD

This is terrible advice, sorry. He plays CS:GO mostly and 144Hz is a huge improvement for that.

At this day and age buying a 27 with 5ms and 60Hz is only for watching Video or playing console games.
