144hz monitors on GTX 970 ???

I have a gtx 970 and have a 60hz monitor atm , i mostly play campaign games and stuff like that and was wondering if you guys thin getting a 144hz monitor would help?

"Help" with what? For single player games, it really won't do anything to help you do any better in them, but it'll improve your experience if you favor fast response times and superior motion clarity over pure image quality/color accuracy (nice IPS/PLS/VA/etc compared to TN screens). Your best bet is to try and find one on display somewhere to test for yourself to see if you favor a higher refresh rate over superior colors and contrast.

okay well in that case , do you know any great colour monitors , preferebly $200 or under 24 inch and fast response time ?

Ok the BenQ RL2455HM is 24 inch, has an extremely fast response time of 1ms, has an aspect ratio of 16:9 and is 1920x1080 full HD.
