Yesterday evening i got my new 144hz monitor, i plugged it in and set the refresh rate to 144 and it saved, however when i play games like GTA V, CSGO and H1Z1 i feel no difference from a 60hz monitor it still feels choppy and hasnt got that smooth factor about it.
im using a FX-6300 CPU
GTX750Ti GPU
and the monitor i brought is the AOC G2460FQ

Does anyone know what i could do to fix the problem and make it feel as if im actually running 144hz?

Nope it just starts off choppy, i can describe it as like playing on a 30hz monitor even though its set to 144hz

Try reinstalling nvidia drivers using wagnard's DDU tool :
http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/

1. You have to download a copy of the latest nvidia driver from nvidia's website :
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Put your specs in "Operating system, Graphics card" and save it in a convenient location "such as the desktop"

2. Download DDU "Device Driver Uninstaller" from here http://www.wagnardmobile.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=30 and choose where to extract the files of the program.

3. Launch DDU.exe from the folder you extracted the tool at.

4.Choose the first option which is uninstall driver and restart, the computer will automatically restart after uninstalling the drivers.

5. When the computer boots up again, you will notice that the resolution is much lower, locate where you downloaded the nvidia installer for the latest driver and launch it.

6. Choose "Custom Install" and click on the checkbox that says "Clean Installation"

7. Nvidia installer will restart your pc after the drivers are installed.

8. After your PC restarts, you have to reconfigure your Nvidia control panel settings such as resolution and refresh rate.
