Greets, can i run 144hz on an R7 250? I have an Asus VG248QE connected with DVI-D cable that came with the monitor.Worth me

Solution
Depends on what games. For newer titles, no way, its simply too weak to provide a constant 144hz at 1080p :(

However you presumably play competitive games since you have a 144hz monitor? Games such as CSGO that are mainly CPU intensive may well run over 144fps provided you turn the settings down. For example I have an FX6300 and a HD7770 and I get 250+ fps in some maps.

If you are using Windows 10, then follow these steps:-
1. Open Display settings by right clicking on desktop and clicking on Display settings.
2. Then click on Advanced display settings.
3. Then click on Display Adapter properties.
4. In the new windows, select the Monitor Tab, from there you can change your Screen Refresh rate.
5. If you can't select 144hz then update your monitor drivers and try again after restarting.

Then you should be able to change your refresh rate to 144Hz. Try the above procedure.
You just need to install AMD Catalyst drivers. If they are already installed then you are good to go.

Cool, your motherboard supports Dual-Link DVI-D. You can just use your Integrated Graphics unless you get a new GPU with Dual Link DVI-D support.
An EVGA Geforce GT 730 card will be nice choice for you as it has HDMI as well as Dual Link DVI-D. And it doesnt costs a lot too, provided you only plan to play CS:GO.
