Question 144HZ Question

Hi, it's my first time posting here just hoping someone has been in a similar situation. I have an old 144hz monitor Acer GN246HL which only supports 144 through the DVI port. I just got a new laptop which only has HDMI (Acer NITRO 5 https://www.currys.co.uk/products/a...-core-i5-rtx-3050-ti-512-gb-ssd-10224698.html) Is there anyway to connect the monitor to the laptop and get the 144hz as id much rather play on the bigger screen with 144hz. Thank you to anybody who can give some advice

I remember that HDMI output is limited at 1920x1080 on external monitor @144Mhz.

If that resolution is fine for you, you can try to use a HDMI to DVI adapter, make sure the cable is HDMI 2.0 certified too.
