Hello,

My current gtx 960 4gb has a dual linked dvi-d port and my 144hz benq xl2411p has also one.
I am planing to buy a new GPU soon (RTX 2060 or 1160) and those cards do not have a dvi-d port and also my monitor does not have a Display port.
So what could I do when I get the new gpu and I still want to have 144hz? Is there any cheap cables like DisplayPort to Dual linked DVI-D?

Update: I just noticed that there are 2 versions of my monitor. The P version has a displayport and the other one does not and I have the one that does not have.
Or should I sell my current 144hz and buy Alienware Gaming AW2518HF what should have a display port and also displayport should support 240hz also?

Sorry for my bad english and for being impolite because I cant type polite 😀

Solution
Yes displayport will support 240hz, but it depends on the displayport specification. But the specification is the actual port and not the wire. So if you get a 240hz monitor and pair it with a 2060, it will support 240hz with a dp cable.

Thanks for a quick response but does a DisplayPort support 240hz?

I dont know if that will work or not. You will need an active adapter and that may be passive. Some active adapters have a USB cable coming from it to add power. I think it will cost a bit more than a standard adapter, so it may not work. I dont know what sites you have where you live, but I would look at the reviews or questions asked to see if others confirm that it supports 144hz.
