I just bought a LiquidVideo 17" monitor from Circuit City that is advertising that is has a 14ms response time! Can this be true? Currently i have it hooked up and it looks great! Any help would be appreciated.

If there had been a 14ms monitor released we'd have heard about it, and it won't come from a company like LiquidVideo, unless they've started making their own panels in secret.....

first of all i checked circuit city, i found no official reference to a 14ms response time.

the only referral to it was in the customer review sections, which isn't very reliable.

They have probably just read the spec for the power up time of the LCD screen, 14ms is usual for this, but for a true response time you have to add the time taken for pixels to switch off, which can be another 10-20ms, so the response time of this monitor is likely to be around 30ms in total, which still isn't too bad.
