[SOLVED] 15.9GB usable out of 16GB - Is this normal?

I have updated my BIOS and it increased my system's Hardware reserved memory from 49MB to 74MB.

RAM went from 16/16GB usable to 15.9GB/16GB usable.

is this normal?

Totally reasonable, IMO.

That seems to be high from what I've been used to have. Its always less than 50MB for me. I just want to know what caused the increase in this, it doesnt bother me as it makes no difference but I want to know how this "Hardware Reserved Memory" works.

Well, what was the change in BIOS? It's hard to answer a specific question about a change after a BIOS update without knowing anything about the BIOS or the hardware its on.
