Looking for a quiet but good fan is this good?

25dba should be barely audible at all, depending on how your airflow currently is setup it might do a difference, could drop them up to 7ºC I'd say.

If you want the best then Noctua is the only way to go and the Noctua NF-S12A http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BEZKX8Y is THE best case cooling fan when it comes to airflow and low noise.

That's the "Quiet" edition. The AF120 in regular will provide faster fan speeds and thusly better exhausting. Will you notice a difference... no. Will you hear any difference, also no. Just go with what you think looks best.

Personally, I have the AF120 (regular) - it looks great, works great, and I don't hear it.
