150° Tempatures

how hot is my nvidia 7300 LE graphics card supposed to be. it doesn't have a fan on it, just a huge heat sink on it. please help me. thanks in advance 😉 i was playing runescape and my gpu got up to 181° F. With just firefox open it has 145° F temps

I'm assuming that is Fahrenheit? If so, 65C (the equivalent) is high for idle temperatures. Since you say it has a passive heatsink, I'd recommend improving the airflow over it or in its vicinity.

For reference the passively cooled 7300LE I run 24/7 in my server stays at about 52C so it would appear that there is something wrong. How good is the airflow in your case?

Those temps won't break your card, no worries, because you have no fan on it, that's why it's quite high. Next time put temps into Celcius. Always stay below 90C

Max of 83C isn't terrible. It is high enough that I might look into getting a little better airflow in the case, but not enough to be seriously worried.
