150-500 ping and high packet loss on ethernet when wifi is enabled

I normally have 40-60 ping on games, but whenever anyone gets on the wifi, my ping and packet loss skyrockets. Disabling the wifi signal fixes the problem. I am connected to my router with an Ethernet cable, so why am I the one experiencing the spikes while nobody else is?

I have already tried analyzing the wifi channel and changing it, no luck.

Wireless is suboptimal for gaming, particularly if others are using the network. Your best solution would be a pair of good AV1200 MIMO powerline adapters (like the Tp-Link for $50 a pair HERE) -- very low latency and not nearly as problematic with interference as long as you don't put a large motor (like a floor fan) on the same circuit.

I am using a wired connection already, why would having wifi enabled affect my ping?

Thought you were on wireless obviously. What router model, any QoS settings, any heavy streamers/torrents going while playing?
