Ok, so here is what I have so far...
i5-7500
MSi B250M Bazooka mobo
16GB of Crucial DDR4 2133mhz RAM
ASUS HD7770 gpu
This is an upgrade machine in the final stages of upgrading, with the gpu being the last thing left to upgrade. Now my intentions were to eventually get a GTX 1060 in the future and whatever I got now would be handed over to my wife for her machine. However, after looking at the 1050ti for some time and then shopping Ebay a little bit, I find I can get a 780ti for the same price, if not under the price of the 1050ti. Power isnt an issue, I have plenty of overhead in my PSU to cover the 780ti. If I got the 780ti, I would keep it and just get something like a 1050 for the wife later on. Any opinions? I'd like to grab something in the near future with Forza 7 and COD:WWII coming out soon, I know my HD7770 just aint gonna cut the mustard.
So... 780ti to keep or 1050ti as a temporary solution with another future upgrade to a 1060... which route sounds better? Oh and Im only gaming in 1080p, my ASUS VG248QE doenst go any higher than that, which is fine by me.
