$1500 Dollar Gaming Build - Is This Good?

I'm going to be buying a new computer towards the end of November and am starting to look at components right now. I'm from Vancouver, Canada, and will be buying from NCIX. My budget's around $1500.

Anyways, I was hoping to get some suggestions on the build I've come up with so far - here it is:

CPU - Intel 4670K - $400 (in bundle with the motherboard)
Motherboard - Asus Z87-Pro
Graphics Card - Radeon R9 280X - $340
RAM - Corsair "Vengeance Blue" 8GB - $84
Power - Corsair AX860 (860W) - $185
SSD - SanDisk Ultra 256GB - $160
Cooling - Corsair H100I $110
Case - Corsair 200R - $54
OS - Windows 8 - $98

... Which all clocks in at around $1450. Any suggestions as to improvements I could make would be awesome. Thanks!

I do not like closed loop water coolers. They are loud and don't cool better than air coolers.

The PSU is VERY overkill. 650w would be plenty. 750 is you REALLY want but it is by no means at all needed. That GPU will use MAX 241w under FULL LOAD.

everything else looks good to go. I would get low profile RAM though. The heatsinks are not needed as DDR3 RAM doesn't even get hot. Its all for show (stupid), and the fins can interfere with come CPU coolers.

This is also a good option. I still don't like closed loop coolers for the reasons stated above, but it is a solid build.

Don't really need an HDD. I'll keep an eye out for a deal on a 650W-750W PSU and I'll definitely consider a 770 GTX. Thanks.
