Approximate Purchase Date: Hopefully by the end of this week

Budget Range: $1500, not really looking to go over, but under is always a plus.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Multimedia

Parts Not Required: Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Optical Drives

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg, ncix...looking for deals so I'm not too picky

Country: US

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU, that's about it.

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200

Additional Comments: Really struggling with the GPU. I have a 570 on my wishlist, but not sure if I can get similar performance with a 560ti 448 core overclocked.

Thanks for the input guys. I think you convinced me to go with the 7950. I made a few other changes to my build but think I'm settling on this one:

Build

Got a couple other deals that came out yesterday on newegg (hdd and psu). The grand total after shipping is $1560.67.

If anyone has a good reason that I should go with the ASUS PRO/GEN3 over the GEN3 I would like to hear it. If not I should be buying this set up tonight. Thanks again for the help.

Good build, and it gives you the ability to run two of those cards later on if you so choose. Take the Arctic Silver off the list though. Cooler Master cpu h/s like that EVO come with a small tube of MX-4 thermal compound which is about as good as it gets in regards to thermal compounds.
