$1500 setup for my kids:)

Hey guys, I will build a pc for my kids and i wan't to know if this is gonna work good for gaming, what would you change for that price?

how old are the kids? I hope they're in the teens cause those are some very nice peripherals you probably don't want to put in a young kids clutches.

~yes, that will work for gaming. looks like a nice high quality well considered setup from top to bottom.

~ as i side-note, 20+ years ago my dad helped me build my own pc. it started a 20+ year love affair with working with computers. so much so It's now my career. Hope you get them involved in it!

they are 16 and 14, both have laptop which isn't good for games..

update: that's why i'm doing this😉 I'll teach them how to do it)

then your kids are lucky 😀 I was 14 and my dad RENTED our lawnmower to me, and charged me for him to drive me to places to mow lawns, and i had a summer job mowing lawns till i made 50% of the cost of the pc. he paid for the other half and told me if i wanted it to work i'd have to build it myself. he helped every step of the way of course. but man that certainly was my pride and joy... loved that pc. overclocked it (from 66hz to 84hz! it was an amazing 486!); and i even kept that pc up until my last year at college when i built myself a new one on the k7 architecture... 550mhz, overclocked that sucker up to 1ghz and was the coolest nerd on campus.

All parts look good, nothing needs to be changed. Let your kids build it as you guide them and when the system powers up for the first time, it will be one of their proudest achievements. 😀
