Shouldn't it be 16:10? 1920x1200 and such?

Yeah, 16:9 is an HDTV format, 16:10 is the computer format, but perhaps that's the point? They want people to watch movies on them I guess. Just don't try to play a game designed for 16:10.

I haven't seen a 4:3 screen in a while...I was under the impression this was already really accepted as standard.

the standard for pc screens is 16:10. 16:9 is what hdtv's are.
