K ktolo Honorable Jul 19, 2012 457 1 10,960 Sep 8, 2015 #3 They'd need to be running inside an emulator which would be 32bit, in order to emulate 16bit. 16bit native applications will not work on windows 32bit without an emulator (same goes for 12 or 8 bit) Winows 64bit can run 32bit applications.. windows 64bit has built in 32 bit emulator for windows apps.. so normal 32bit apps run natively.
