hey guys

i know 14 Cas is faster but its also more expensive and price difference is a bit high , will i notice ANY difference in FPS if i go with 14 cas over 16 cas ? i know benchmark tools will show the difference but what about real world gaming ?

Solution
Then it would come down to testing, would depend on the game - some games DRAM speed/performance doesn't really show up but in big jumps say low freq to high freq, other games tend to love fast DRAM, like Fallout 4. On my Skylake I got 32GB (4x8GB) of TriZ 3200/16 and was great, then later grabbed a set 3200/14 (2x16GB and it was even better - overall system performance. Also, some will 'see' a difference, many others won't. I play with different DRAM a lot at my business so I can often tell a difference just in the general use of my rigs

ya i get what you say it feels smoother even though you might not see a difference in fps , but did you gain any fps ? i mean did you use fraps or anything to measure how much frames you gained by cas 14 ?

and what if 2x16gb made it work better than 4x8 ? oh that s just stupid 😀 ignore that noob comment
