16 GB not showing up?

Hi,

I just installed a 16 GB SODIMM DDR4 2400 MHz module into my ASUS ROG G8 v2 which also has a 4 GB SODIMM DDR4 2400 MHz module installed. It's showing up as 12 GB, not 20. I didn't know if you guys may know a fix

Hi, Is it 16, or 8? Check with CPU-Z.

I can't remove the 4 GB because it's a Mini PC so the RAM Slots are split up

Not sure, then, about the issue. Mixing different models of RAMs does not always work as intended.

the 4 GB stick is running in single and the 16 in dual, this is probs why. Can I somehow make the 16 gb single?

doesnt look like it but now it's detecting 20 GB but saying 10 GB is hardware reserved...
