16 ram problem

I have changed my ram to 16 and my pc and bios shows me only 8
My specs
CPU:intel i5 3470
Mother board:MSI B75IA-E33
GPU:Geforce gtx 760
NEW ram:Corsair Vengeance® — 16GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10)

I would double check that they have seated firmly. Even if the clips engaged on both sides, you need to firmly press straight down for tightness. I just installed these on my daughter's pc a week ago and I had movement after the clips engaged. I would switch them around and or install only 1 to see if one is faulty.

What RAM did you have in previously? Did you use both slots?

I have curical 8gb and i used only the Right slot the left one is not working dont know why
