Assuming everything else using the same part. Given that price and usage consist mostly of coding while browsing with something like 10+ tabs or more. Is the which most worth it?

The i5 will definitely do better at multitasking. It's got 50% more cores and 100% more L3 cache so even single core performance will be faster/better.
Just make sure you're comparing apples to apples. Some of these CPUs don't come with integrated GPUs.
