Approximate Purchase Date: 20th june 2014 (i understand this is far away i just want to get to know some builds before i purchase. included parts that may come out in the future if u want.
Budget Range: $1600 Australian dollars

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Internet surfing, Homework

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Pcpartpicker

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Western Australia, Perth

Parts Preferences: I would like to have a i5 4670k

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: No (but maybe in the future)

Your Monitor Resolution: Not sure you decide i would like a nice monitor for gaming

Additional Comments: I want it to run DayZ Standalone max, And if you can Make it run Minecraft max settings with optifine, Shaders and a 512x Texture pack at 30fps min

Have you looked at Day Z and Minecraft websites for the recommended pc specs?

I think an i5 4670k is a good start.

$1600 AUD will buy you about the same as $1200US in the US

Any idea of the graphics card you want?

Just change the cpu and motherboard and you've got at least a start of an idea of what you can get for your money

Work out a build. Use PartPicker au if you want. post it and let us go over it.
