$1600 Build, but! I may need to cut back.

I'm making a new build for graphic design, gaming and video encoding. My original price range was $1400 but the parts I have selected just seem right (but cost $1600.) I could spend the extra $200 but it would put me in a financial pinch. Where do you think I should cut back?

You could get a smaller PSU (wattage) if you don't plan on running another 5870 in crossfire.

Also, you can start with just one 500gb F3 if you don't need the immediate storage space. You could save 100-150 with these two changes. With a smaller case like the cm 690 or antec 900 you could save the $200 you're looking for.

I'm not going to be running crossfire in the foreseeable future. What do you think a good wattage supply would be for this setup? I don't really need the storage space much right this minute. I have a WD 1 TB external I bought a long while back that still runs. A smaller case would work too but I want this thing to run as cool as possible without having to get watercooling. I'll look into everyones recommendations. Keep em coming.

well your cooling bottleneck will be your 212+ before it'll be a 690 or 922. don't get me wrong, i use a 212+ to cool my i5 at 4ghz but don't worry about the case too much, both the ones i mentioned and the one you picked out all have great airflow.

also look into the antec 900 maybe?

I was just looking at the 900, the cm690 and the HAF 922. I could get a case / power supply combo and save some money. The Cooler Master cases come with OCZ power supplies and the Antec comes with Antec power supplies. Which has the better reputation power supply wise? [strike]also 650, 750 or 850 watt?[/strike]
